On September 24, 2015, a Hillsborough County Deputy arrived at the scene of a crash with injuries. The Deputy determined that the at fault driver did not have a valid license and had never been issued one. The Defendant arrived at the scene of the accident just after the Deputy. The Defendant admitted the at fault driver was his girlfriend and the mother of this 2 children. The Deputy then read the Defendant his Miranda rights. The Defendant invoked his right to remain silent and the Deputy arrested him for allowing the at fault driver to operate the motor vehicle without a valid license.

Result: The firm filed a motion to dismiss the charge which was granted by the Judge.
