Police respond to the scene of a 4 car accident that our client is accused of having caused. Our client was further accused of having attempted to leave the scene of that accident but was prevented from doing so by a citizen who essentially effectuated a citizens arrest. When the police arrived they conducted an accident investigation. During that investigation the police claimed to have noticed signs of impairment from our client and proceeded to conduct a DUI investigation. Our client is said to have failed the field sobriety exercises and was arrested. At the police station our client refused to give a breath sample after multiple requests by the police.
