DUI & Criminal Division

The Client’s vehicle was stopped for speeding and failing to maintain a single lane. Once stopped the Officer believed that the Client was impaired by alcohol. The Officer requested the Client perform field sobriety exercises. The Client performed poorly on the exercises and was arrested. When the Client arrived at the jail he then provided a breath sample that was twice the legal limit. Once the Firm was retained to handle the case, it was discussed with the State Attorney’s Office that the Client fully cooperated with the Officer’s investigation, that the Client was a veteran, and that the Client had no prior history of criminal activity. After the Firm discussed these issues with the State, the DUI charges were then dismissed.
