DUI & Criminal Division
On April 25, 2025, at approximately 12:44 a.m., a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputy assigned to the Street Crimes Unit observed our client driving a gold Honda Odyssey westbound on Belvedere Road at a high rate of speed, failing to slow or stop for a steady red traffic signal near Benoist Farms Road. The deputy followed the vehicle, noting that its license plate returned to a different vehicle, and activated emergency lights and siren after the client turned onto Handy Oak Circle. Despite multiple safe areas to stop, the client continued driving until coming to a halt after the deputy issued commands over the PA system. Upon contact, the deputy reported that the client, who was the sole occupant, exhibited glassy eyes and slurred speech. The client explained they had been trying to reach a cousin’s house and that the vehicle belonged to their father, who had recently purchased it from a relative. The client retained The Ticket Clinic to defend against the DUI charge. After thorough review of the case and strategic negotiations with the State, our attorneys successfully secured a dismissal of the DUI charge.
