DUI & Criminal Division

The Defendant was observed failing to maintain a lane on 3 occasions and also had an obscured license plate. The officer had to use his loudspeaker to get the vehicle to stop. After being stopped, the Defendant stated she was trying to call her boyfriend. She did not know where she was and her eyes were red and glassy and her speech was slurred. She smelled like alcohol and denied drinking. She performed poorly on roadsides and was arrested. At the jail she blew a .183 and a .182. The Firm handeled the administrative review hearing and reinstated the Defendant’s driver’s license. The Firm negotiated with the State Attorney’s Office where the State ultimately agreed to dismiss the charges for Driving Under the Influence. Additionally, the Defendant never lost her license to drive.
