In June, Defendant was sleeping in the back seat of her legally parked car. Police woke her up, made her exit the car, and ultimately arrested her for DUI and resisting arrest without violence. We filed a motion to suppress the stop, questioning the legality of the officer directing the Defendant to exit her vehicle absent reasonable suspicion that any crime had taken place. The motion was set for hearing. Before the motion could be heard, the state dropped all charges.
